Menu has lots of items, some were unavailable when we tried ordering. Ended up trying the Paz Kachori and Chole Bhatura- both were good. Can't go wrong on India St.

My home away from home experience. Hailing from Delhi, Bikanervala has been a part of all our festivities. So it was only valid for me to miss it a little. So, on our trip to NYC, we decided to make a stop here to relive our nostalgia and have some yummy food. So, we ordered their deluxe thali. The paneer and and dal, they tasted just like the ones we had in Delhi. But my favourite part was the Bengali sweet. It was perfect! The whole ambience and experience reminded me of home and was a great end to an already amazing NYC trip.

Good Indian snacks and entrees. You order at counter. Food is freshly prepared. Very clean and well lit area. I had the Raj kachori which was great. Will visit again.

After a LOOONG DAY of walking roaming the streets on NYC, this was perfect late night stop over for some comfort food. It was packed as all Bikanervala's usually our. This restaurant definitely took me back to India. We got the thali it came with naan, rice, laccha parantha, chaap, daal, choley , papd, pickle and a side of sweet (bengali in my case which made me sooo happy). The food was delicious, the naan and parantha was crispy and HOT! The daal was really good , chaap was spicy and cholle were just perfect too. In the end the bengali sweet topped it all lff like cherry on top of a cake. One thing to note is that you can mox and match the different thali options they have. You do not have to choose the set options they give. We got 1 thali for two people and we were more than stuffed by the end! Would recommend for a little taste of india in Little India.

Bikanervala in usa and with the taste just like it is in india is mind blowing! Trust me when I say that even though I live in the South Bay you do not get the level of north india food that you would like to. Nothing that we ordered at bikanervala was bad - we were in New Jersey for 2 days and ate here twice. Chole bhature, tandoori platter, Raj kachori, Dahi b-bhalla papdi chaat and kulfi falooda all to die for. I wish I had been in New Jersey for a longer period of time and wish I had a bigger stomach to try out more dishes. I would fly all the way to NJ just to eat here. PS: the head chef has been brought directly from india which is probably why the quality of the food is so good.
